        Founder/President

        Nomiss Communication

Kim Davis is the owner of Nomiss Communication, a Lubbock-based media relations and crisis communications firm.  With more than 30 years experience in the public relations arena, her expertise is in public relations strategy, earned media and crisis communications. A former print reporter, Kim also provides assistance in copywriting for multiple materials – from brochures to newsletters; and from website content development to press release writing and distribution. She also freelances for multiple magazines throughout the Southwest and blogs for clients across the country.

Since beginning her own business 15 years ago, Kim has successfully promoted multiple clients, gaining regional, statewide and national attention to their endeavors. Kim has helped to improve reputations, calm crises and ultimately increase profits for clients with wider recognition of their businesses through multiple public relations avenues.

Her clientele spans businesses from the healthcare arena to agriculture and from politics to education. She assisted the Lubbock County Elections Office launch “Vote Centers,” Texas’ pilot program that allows people to vote wherever they live work or play as opposed to voting at assigned precincts; and she worked with the Elections Office for more than eight years assisting with all media needs during election cycles. She has also worked for political candidates and issues, most recently as campaign manager for Lubbock County Judge Curtis Parrish and for the passage of the Lubbock County Expo Center.

Kim was retained by Former President George W. Bush’s White House staff to assist in statewide media coverage for his “Welcome Home” event in his hometown of Midland the day he officially left office.

She has helped to launch products, promote communities and is sought after by larger peer firms; and has consulted across the country.
