Monica Horton has lived all her life in Wichita Falls, TX. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in finance, from Midwestern State University.
Monica began her work with the Better Business Bureau of North Central Texas in March 1999. She started out as a consumer consultant and was later promoted to director of operations before being appointed to her current position of Wichita Falls President. She loves working at the BBB because she firmly believes in its mission of being the leader in advancing marketplace trust and its vision of a marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other.
Monica serves the local community and BBB organization by having served on international BBB committees and numerous sub-committees that oversee the BBB system. Locally she has served the American Advertising Federation Wichita Falls, the Bowie Chamber of Commerce, MSU Alumni Association, Rotary Club of Wichita Falls, Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, and Rolling Meadows Board of Directors.
Monica has been married to her husband Ricky for 32 years and has two adult sons. But most importantly she is now a grandmother.
